Let's make up some numbers - Why I Like Seth

Seth Godin published a great post today about how marketers manipulate numbers, especially those in the movie and music (entertainment content) industries.

I must say I planned to write a similar post in the near future, but could not find the right data to prove the point. However I agree completely with Seth's analysis and I will most probably write a longer post about the topic when I get some good data - hopefully soon.

Posts like this is why I admire Seth so much. The guy is incredibly clever and even though he is a basically a marketer he explains things the way they really are. I have posted some of his presentations (Sliced bread .../All Marketers Are Liers) already but there are hopefully more to come.
